In this time of video blogging and YouTube, it is refreshing to start a blog purely for the literate audience. No offense meant here as I acknowledge video blogs as a platform that cater even to my three year old nephew, who, is an avid subscriber to YouTube’s Ryan’s Toy Review.

For this blog site, I intend to write about, well yeah, as the page title screams… MY MAKEUP EXPERIENCE!!!  Makeup got me about three years ago, and has me hooked until now.  I have a decent stash of cosmetics in my tiny little provincial bedroom.  Brand ranges from drugstore, like the most accessible for me, Maybelline; up to some high-end brand like Lancôme.  And for the record, the high-end brand are usually gifts and hand me downs from sisters or friends.

Recently, I realized that I am exploring more on the affordable local / Filipino brands.  I am an avid online shopper (Shopee more than Lazada) and started following the local brands’ pages to be updated on sale and promotions.  Yesterday was the 11-11 sale for the two online shopping sites so I got to order a few more products from brands like Maybelline, LOL, BYS, In-2-It, Nyx, Shawill. I am currently waiting for my orders to arrive, and as soon as I have my hands on them, reviews in this page will commence.  I will also try to review some of the items that I currently have and use.

So just relax for now, and hope that this won’t be my last entry for my makeup experience.
